Terms of use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
About these terms
These terms cover your use of the veldlock.com website. Veldlock is run by its founder, a sole trader based in Scotland, United Kingdom; "we" and "us" mean Veldlock. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
They don't cover the Veldlock app. Using the app is governed by the contract between Veldlock and the customer whose site you work on.
Using the site
You're welcome to read the site, share links to it and use the demo form to contact us. Please don't:
- try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the systems behind it;
- copy the site in bulk, or scrape it with automated tools;
- use the demo form to send spam, or to send someone else's details without their permission.
Our content
We work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it describes a product that is still developing. Features, screens and plans may change, and some things described as on our roadmap may change or not happen. Screens and examples on the site are illustrations; names and sites in them are fictional.
Not advice
The site gives general information about Veldlock. It is not safety, legal or compliance advice. Using Veldlock doesn't change who is responsible for safety at a site: each employer and site keeps its own legal duties, codes of practice and procedures.
Intellectual property
The Veldlock name, logo, and the words, design and images on this site belong to us. You may share links and short quotes, but please don't reuse our name, logo or content in a way that suggests you are us or that we endorse you.
Liability
The site is provided free and "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using it or relying on it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Other websites
Where the site links to other websites, we aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Changes
We may update these terms, for example when Veldlock becomes a registered company. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Law
These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts deal with any dispute about them. This doesn't take away any right you have to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
